Business Development Manager - Adventure Travel - VIC

Our client is a well established Adventure Travel Wholesaler. Their offices are located in the southern suburbs of Melbourne. They are currently seeking an experienced business development manager to manage the Victorian territory. Previous on road sales experience is essential and you must be able to provide your own car.

Personal travel and previous sales experience with African and South American destinations will see you successful in this role, especially if you like the tours that are specialised and off the beaten track.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Relationship management with retail agencies within your territory.
  • Product training. (breakfast meeting and product presentation evenings)
  • Trade Show stand management.
  • Agency support.
  • Identifying any new sales opportunities.
  • The discipline to work from home.

The follow points are essential to be considered for this role:

  • You must have your own car.
  • Previous on road sales experience
  • Existing relationships with the Victorian travel agencies. (Highly regarded)
  • You must have worked in wholesale travel sales.
  • Flexibility to travel interstate & overseas when required.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced Powerpoint knowledge
