ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a well respected tertiary education provider specialising in post-graduate studies in Applied Finance. It's Centre administers activities such as post-graduate teaching, research, executive education and the provision of a forum for the discussion of topics relevant to the Australian and international finance sectors. The Centre has offices around the globe in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Tokyo, Singapore and Beijing.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This is your chance to play a key part in the organisation in this challenging and varied role. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing  and BD to implement marketing and business development strategy, with a particular focus on communications, market research and intelligence, stakeholder engagement and analysis.

• Manage communications, database, research
• Liaise with stakeholders, relevant professional bodies and industry to enhance programs and activities.
• Integrate functionality for stakeholders into the website
• Manage the budget of the stakeholder engagement program
• Key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and maintain the social media strategy
• Liaise with third parties to manage the website and marketing collateral
• Responsible for internal and external communications
• Manage the preparation and distribution of newsletters and associated materials
• Support the Head of Marketing and BD to pursue business development opportunities
• Build and maintain an industry network

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

You will also bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (such as marketing, business or communications) and marketing experience
• Experience in Banking, Finance and Financial Services
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally
• Experience in writing high quality communications
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Professionalism and ability to quickly develop credibility and strong working relationships
• Ability to interact confidently with senior leaders in the finance industry
• Experience managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders
