Business Development Executive

Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the existing client base in Government, Corporate and MICE markets. Effectively growing the business to meet revenue projections and understanding market conditions will be key to this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new & massaging the existing clients within the MICE market.
  • Monthly Sales & Marketing reporting.
  • Attending relevant industry events
  • Investigation & follow up of all major leads
  • Effectively communicating with all departments
  • Maximising revenue in rooms division & conferencing

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Specific experience in the following areas are also desirable.

  • MICE / Corporate and Government markets.

This will be a  challenging and exciting role for the sucessful candidate so a solid understanding of the conditions of the accommodation sector in Australia is imperative. Luxury is number 1 and you will have a great passion for the finer things in life.

As this role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne, the flexibility to travel between the states regularly is a must!
