Business Development Executive - Sydney

If 2012 is the year that you really want to get ahead then this could be the job in which to do it!! Our client is seeking a  hunter to drive in new business for what is turning out to be a great year. By using your existing network in the travel industry, you will be assisting this global online travel distribution company during a period of national growth. You will be naturally dynamic and have an assertive personality with the ability to pull resources together and manage mulitple tasks concurrently.

This is a key position in achieving the annual revenue targets for the company so generating sales, presenting to new prospects, developing propsals and the ability to close deals must be running through your veins. To be successful in the position, ideally you will have:

  • Solid retail travel agency contacts. (Corporate & Leisure)
  • Persuasive negotiation skills.
  • A strategic approach to developing new sales tactics.
  • A proven track record in travel sales.
  • Previous experience with a GDS is highly regarded

This is an on road sales position so you must have a current Australian drivers licence and your own car. You will be able to claim your expenses monthly. This is a Sydney based role however the flexibility to be away from home at times is a must.
