About the Company Our client is a premiere conference and trade publishing company. In this Customer Service/Telesales role you will be working alongside the Publishing & Circulation Manager and the Trade Magazine Coordinator and will be responsible for both maintaining and building the subscriber base across their stable of products. About the Opportunity You will be responsible for: - Subscription retention & customer service for print subscribers and the electronic services range of products
- New business calls; inbound sales queries; following up campaigns supplied by marketing;
- Print sales of the annual directory;
- Key account sales and management via site licenses and bulk purchasing;
- Management of subscriber accounts both online and within their publishing database;
- Collating, sending and following up free trial subscribers;
- Folding and mailing renewal invoices and free trial campaigns;
- Banking renewal payments and assisting with other departmental duties.
About the Requirements - Previous experience working in sales (Point of Sale or Telesales) or customer service;
- The ability to deal with a range of personalities and handle objections;
- Good computer literacy and the ability to work within an extensive customer database;
- Understanding & commitment to providing high quality client service;
- Attention to detail
- Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
