ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This role is suited to an enthusiastic, outgoing people person who is looking to progress their career in an established organisation.

This varied role will see you:

• Providing strategic advice to clients
• Conducting regular client meetings
• Preparing and presenting strategic financial plans to clients
• Liaising with Investment Advisors and Account Managers
• Supervising 1-2 associate advisors
• Assisting in the mentoring, training and development of junior staff
• Reviewing and managing a portfolio of ongoing clients
• Conducting 6 monthly financial strategy reviews with clients
• Answering client inquiries via phone and emails
• Reviewing and understanding relevant ATO and ASIC guidelines and rulings
• Staying abreast of changes to FPA rules/guidelines
• Continually reviewing guidelines and rulings on superannuation
• Attending seminars as required
• Following up referrals from existing clients and other referral avenues

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

This is an exciting role with a strong client focus, in a busy dynamic environment.

You will also bring:

• Degree qualified in Business/Commerce/Economics/Finance or Accounting with a related major and high academic results
• Either a Diploma in Financial Planning or a CFP
• 4-5 years experience in a similar role
• Ability to build long lasting client relationships
• Exceptional communication skills
• A strategic and analytical mind
• Experience supervising other staff members
