Our client is the leader in national tourist information centres. The centre itself offers information on tourist attractions and tours and also has the ability to book domestic travel arrangements by land or air, accommodation and tours.

We are now currently seeking a Business Manager to run day to day operations for this busy centre. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work autonomously, managing the team of retail travel consultants as well as centre operations. Due to the style of the business, previous over the counter sales experience is a must to be successful in this role.

Some role responsibilities include:

          Customer service & proactively drive sales, travel & retail
          Open & close, cash handling and banking
          Have through Australian Domestic knowledge and able to direct junior staff  
       Staff Management

Knowledge of merchandising will also be a distinct advantage for this role.
